My very dear child עמ"ש!
We thank you very much for your card. We passed on the greetings to everyone. What does Gusti תחי' write? Doesn’t she miss the dear child? How long is she going to stay? I don’t have any running around to do now; I am sitting at home and knitting. I am making a pullover with lengthways stripes from the light grey wool with mid blue and the angora. It’s coming along very well. Maybe Yisroel נ"י can write to Shochet instead of Leo נ"י, it is absolutely not be right to leave him without an answer. I don’t think it is so difficult to write to him at all. It was indeed [unnecessary] of Shochet to write, since if I had wanted to, I could have written myself, I don’t need Shochet for that. But since he did write one must reply to him and indeed do it very sensitively. At the moment, the prospects for [us getting to] Palestine are very weak, הש"ית should have mercy. I often take a walk with Sara תחי'.
Please write more next time. I kiss you as well as the dear Aunt שיחי'.
Greetings to everyone,
Chajcie
ב"ה - I too send greetings. Please write to me whether the 2 parcels with my writings are in safe keeping there and whether you have opened the parcel containing Mama’s coat. Your father who greets you and hopes to receive and give good news.
Dawid. Greetings to all of you.
Dearest Feigi עמ"ש
Rebbetzen Parnes’s packages will apparently not be sent to you. The Nettel family and Bettler family reciprocate your greetings with thanks. In case you will please send another picture, indicate to whom it belongs. Mama and I always quarrel about it.
Best regards, and to all the others.
Sara
