My dear good child עמ"ש!

I thank you most warmly for your sympathy. You have surely already received my card saying that the notice to evacuate has been withdrawn. Now we are busy with the preparations for Sara’s journey. She unfortunately had a cold last week and only yesterday left her bed.  Nice for such a journey, no? [Yet,] I thank G-d that she was not forced to postpone the journey. She already [looks] very bad, as you can imagine. For that reason, I urge you to remind her to write to us as soon as she arrives please G-d, because we are worried. You could also write more about yourself.

I greet you, dear Surale תחי', and I urge you to be so kind as to write to me whether my Feigale תחי' is well-behaved, as well as how all of you are. Does the dear child say anything yet? Who takes her for a walk? Is Feigale תחי' helpful around the house? I kiss you, the dear Gitale ת', also my dear Feigale and the dear child, greetings to everyone,

Chajcie

It seems this word, referring to the week of 11th to 17th June, is an error and should read “חקת”, the week of 18th to 24th June.
