LETTERS

Vienna 25 June 1939            ב"ה

My beloved dear child !שי'

I can’t describe to you how happy we were to read your letter. You know that we now expect a detailed letter from you. There is nothing special to report about us. Everything is as you left it. Rosel just said good-bye, she is leaving tomorrow. Please also write what you know about Tuli and Feigi. Are you far from Lisa? Have you already met people we know? I do not know why Rebbetzen Parnes does not write to me, I am very curious to know how she is doing. Does the young Mr. M. speak German? Why did only he come to collect you and not the others? Please write how you are doing and how you feel in a foreign country.

If you were here I would now go to the main post office. I don’t feel like going by myself.

Many greetings and kisses from

Your Mama

Warmest greetings to the dear and honoured Maranowitz family. We thank them very much for their kindness. השי"ת should reward them for it.
