Vienna 9 July [1939]           ב"ה

Dear Feigale תחי',

Many thanks for your two cards. I am very happy that you have ב"ה the prospect of getting into a corset business. That being the case, I am surprised that London is not preferred for us. In the event that you will בעה"ש be earning, London is obviously better for us.

What kind of a life do we have without you?  What fortunes await us in א"י ? Aunt Hinda ת' wrote yesterday in the name of dear Grossvatter שליט"א that he is ready to help us in the event that we are short of money early on. I therefore plead with you, all my dear ones, to do everything possible and get us a [travel] permit. Perhaps one of you has some connection with the Western Agudah, where one could request a rabbinical permit. In case one of the rabbis is travelling elsewhere, his permit could be transferred to us. Or is it possible to renew in Woburn House what Tuli נ"י submitted for us? Make every effort, my dear children, and השי"ת will help.

Best regards to everybody,

Your Mama
