My Curriculum Vitae

I was born on 21 March 1875 in Kuty, Poland, where I attended my obligatory school.

From my earliest youth I have dedicated myself to studying the Talmud.

In 1896 I moved to Podhajce, Poland, where I was a bank manager until 1914.

Since that time I have lived in Vienna. Up to 1923 I traded in jewellery on commission.

For the last fifteen years I have had the position of rabbi in a synagogue in Vienna, up to November 1938.
