My very beloved children שיח',

I just received the card from dear Tuli נ"י. I am totally surprised that he has taken on a job as a furrier, which is of course not an occupation for Eretz, and I do indeed hope that we will be reunited in א"י1. For the moment, there is, it is true, no prospect of continuing our journey. We are likely to remain here until the end of the war. We are leaving the ships and moving into barracks.

I have only one great request of השי"ת : to again see you my ardently beloved children שיחי' healthy and happy.

Dear Tuli נ"י, I am of the opinion that you could have allowed yourself a bit more time in choosing a profession until you find one that is suitable. For the time being, I do not require anything from you and I assume that you had to support yourself before you found something that is also suitable for א"י1.

The people here are doing all they can to obtain certificates or other means of entry. What do you think is good for us? I have still not received even a syllable from Eretz1. When Berl נ"י writes, he should ask whether my belongings are already there. What do you hear from there?

I wish all of you a pleasant יו"ט . Why does Feigi not write?
