My fervently beloved children שליט"א, my everything!

I have already answered your letter of 26 December 1940, with the little picture of darling Surale ת', 2 weeks ago, and I hope it is already in your possession. I would already like to have post again. Please my darling children ש', write regularly every week to Sali or Pluznik. When you write to Pluznik enclose a reply certificate and ask her to send it to my address. The name and the place and jevrejska Opstina suffices, because Mrs. Pluznik’s parents are travelling this week to Eretz. That is to say, all those who are in possession of a certificate are travelling, including Zwi נ"י. The first 33 persons are travelling today, the second on Tuesday etc., up to 200 people. Now it is serious, not via Bulgaria but via Greece to Eretz by train.  150 children are being completely kitted out by Wizo; suits for best and for work, boots and shoes, for home and exercise, pillows, duvets, covers, sheets, suitcases, backpacks and much more.

My feelings are indescribable.  Now to send him too into the world like this.  He will be looked after there for 2 years, but I do not know whether he will find an appropriate place where together with learning תורה he will also be able to learn a practical profession.  He is travelling from here with the Mizrachi Youth. He is ב"ה very gifted and could make something of that if it would be properly taken in hand.

I have received post from Aunt Hinde. She writes that she has aired my things out and put them in fresh mothballs.  Beila ת' helped her do this. She also writes to me the news that Schewa Heschel, who is in Tel Aviv at her aunt’s with Malka, is engaged to Adi Flintenstein

מז"ט .     You must certainly remember him. He has a silverware shop there. What is news with you? Please send me the handwriting of dear Esterl ת'.

I do a lot of thinking. My thoughts are with you day and night.  When I at least have post I am calm for a short time. I do not wish on any שונא to find himself in my position. Now with my wounded heart I still have to bid farewell to Zwi נ"י, but I can endure a lot, that I have proved. Let it already be enough in the eyes of השי"ת . I hold on with all my might in order to see you my dear sweethearts once again.

Please write in great detail, on large full pages, especially Feigale תחי'.  Please send photos of Tuli נ"י and Esterl ת'. How are all the relatives שיחי'. I send best regards to all of them. You as well as the dear aunts, dear Gusti and the children שיחי' I kiss with all my being.
